   Description The book ¨Statistical Reasoning with Imprecise Probabilities¨ (ISBN 0-[REDACTED]0-2). The action you took in response to the complaint made on 10 April 2014 is unacceptable. You removed the link to a website that infringes the copyright, but in its place you have linked to a notice published by Chilling Effects which prominently displays the URL of the infringing website, and moreover gives detailed instructions about how users can download the book illegally by connecting to that URL. In taking this action, not only have you facilitated copyright infringement and illegal downloading, but also you appear to be actively encouraging this activity. In its present form, the link to the Chilling Effects notice has the same effect as providing a link to the infringing website together with a confirmation that users can download the book by following that link. That is much worse than simply linking to the infringing website. To remedy this, you need to either remove the link to the Chilling Effects notice, or remove the URL of the infringing website from the Chilling Effects notice. Your actions constitute something more serious than a ¨contributory infringement¨ to copyright violation. If necessary, legal action will be taken to remedy the infringement. Note: if a copy of this notice is sent also to Chilling Effects, then you need to remove the URL of the website from the notice, or else the same problem will arise again.
